Terms of service
Last updated November 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Monotonic Labs LLC, a Washington limited liability company, for use of Monotonic. By creating an account you accept them.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
Your content
You own the content you add. You grant us a limited license to store, process and train on it solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your content for any other customer.
The beta
Monotonic is in beta. Applying doesn't guarantee a place, and features may change, pause or end while it lasts. What we promise about your data, including how it's kept apart, exported and deleted, holds throughout.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed monthly in USD and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial months, but we'll fix billing mistakes. Once your plan ends, your data and model are kept for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Acceptable use
Do not use Monotonic to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to access other customers' data.
Ending your use
You can cancel or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or a security concern prevents it.
Disclaimers and liability
Model answers can be wrong; check important answers against their sources. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the service goes to the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away a right your local consumer law gives you.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update them here with a new date and email account owners before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Monotonic after that means you accept the new terms.
